Hey Everybody! I’m back! Well, sort of. Actually I’m in Greece on the amazing island of Santorini. Santorini used to be this round island that was mostly blown up by a volcano - like almost 4000 years ago! So what was left is this kind of crescent shaped island with all these cliffs overlooking the volcano which is mostly underwater. Way cool!
Hey Everybody! It’s WAY COOL TIME! This the Burgtheater - it’s where we played in Vienna! Mozart (you probably heard of him) premiered three of his operas here and Beethoven performed his first symphony at the Burgtheater. Mozart, Beethoven and The Residents!!! Sounds cool, huh?
HUBBA! HUBBA!!!
Hey Everybody! I’m back! Whew - it’s about time. So now we’re in Nijmegen, Holland, where we’re rehearsing for the EURO TOUR! That’s the one where we collect all our fees in Euros, which is like dollars EXCEPT WAY BETTER!. Anyway, we’ve been here for several days rehearsing, but now we’re done and we head off to BELGIUM tomorrow for the first show. All you BELGIUM FOLK should come!
Hey Everybody! It’s almost time for the European tour! I have to go the dentist before I can leave and he asked me to bring in this weird casting that he made of my teeth a few years ago, so I had to find it my basement. Here’s the video. Meanwhile, I’ll be seeing you cool Euro folks REAL SOON! WA-HOO!
Hi Randy!
I’ve been listening to The Residents since I was a kid and you’ve shaped and mutated my tastes ever since.
I figured that makes me an official product of yours so I decided to brand myself so no one will forget it!
See you in London!

Hey Maddie! That is ONE COOL TATTOO! Good for you! I should probably get one myself - RIGHT ON TOP OF MY HEAD! Thanks. R
RESIDENTS HISTORY - part 48 (continued)
Hey everybody! Here are some cool pictures of Chuck WEARING AN EYEBALL! I think these were taken for some kind of Freak Show promo photos and never got used or were changed around a lot or something, but they’re nice like this.
RESIDENTS HISTORY - part 47 (continued)
More history! This a photo that we made to promote the Third Reich n’Roll album. We blew it up to giant size - like six or 8 feet tall - then stuck it in the window of Rather Ripped Records in Berkeley and EVERYONE FREAKED OUT! so we took it down. Oh yeah, it’s Chuck in the photo.

Here’s another photo from the WORLD PREMIERE of Mush-Room by the Need Company. Cool, huh?
(Thanks to Hein for the photo.)
Hey Everybody! Here’s this picture of us - well it’s practically a picture of us - at the World Premiere of Mush-Room, a dance piece by the Need Company. The world premiere was in Essen, Germany a few days ago and WE DID THE MUSIC FOR IT! Well, Chuck did the music.
(Thanks to Bernd for the photo.)
Hey Everybody! Here’s a way cool video of me hanging out in my bedroom after the U.S. tour! Thanks to Don Hardy for doing such a boffo and swell job!
